The Potomac School shall strive to be an educational institution serving the needs of each student. Emphasis will be to enlighten the understanding of students concerning the fundamental skills and knowledge to become useful, valued, and productive citizens of the community.
Students shall be taught and given opportunity to learn self-government, to make acceptabel decisions, and to cooperate within the framework of the school.
The individuality of each student is of paramount importance in serving his/her educational needs. To teach students about their privileges and responsibilities as students and members of the community will be an important goal.
True education takes place when students, parents, school personnel, and all community members work for common goals. The prime goal is to meet the needs of each student; and to prepare them academically to be respected productive citizens of the community, state, and nation.
