Special Announcement

Due to COVID-19 public health concerns and the resulting Governor's emergency declaration, 3/29/30 Stay-At-Home Order, and social distancing restrictions, the public is prohibited from physically attending our April 13th school board meeting.  As a result, the meeting will be conducted through video conferencing using the Zoom platform..  Members of the public will be able to observe and participate in the meeting by joining the Zoom video conference from their home electronic devices. The agenda for this meeting will be posted in the usual manner.

To provide adequate security for all those who choose to join the school board meeting, guests and members of the public who are not employees of the school district or members of the school board are asked to email John Rouse on Monday, April 13th, before 6:00 pm and request permission to join the meeting.

Potomac School Students and Parents:

Because Governor Bullock has ordered all public schools to be closed, Potomac School will be closed until April 10th. Our teachers are preparing plans for your children that the students can do to maintain their academic skills while we are out. This will include encouraging our students to continue to read daily, write daily, and practice basic math skills.

We are continuing to provide breakfast and lunch Monday through Thursday.  The meals will be delivered by school buses along our normal bus routes.  If your child normally rides the bus to school in the morning, you should expect the bus to arrive at your stop location three hours later than the normal morning bus pickup time.  Meals can also be picked up at the drive-up window at the community center from 11:00 - 1:00 Monday through Thursday.
