Potomac School opened in 1913 with a mission to provide an exceptional education for area students. This continues today with quality instruction for all students. Potomac’s small size allows for personalized instruction while encouraging independence and critical thinking. Incorporating cross-curricular and multi-grade educational experiences provide students with a well-rounded education and prepares them for their future pursuits. Potomac School maintains a strong focus on literacy in all discipline areas because we believe that literacy is the key to success not only in school but also in life.
